Tiny Tots exhibit sporting skills at Small Wonders Sports Week


Chandigarh, February 20: In order to inculcate love and passion forsports amongst young impressionable minds of children, Small WondersSchool, Mohali organised at Sports Week that concluded here todayafter a week long sporting extravaganza that saw happening sportingactivity all around the school campus. The Sports Week witnessed tinytots of Play Class, Nursery, LKG, UKG, Class I and II participate withutmost enthusiasm in sporting contests that were competitive andexciting at the same time.While events like skating, frog race, forward race and biscuit racewere some of the fun filled events that set the tone for superbsporting action, the competitive spirit was evident all around ascharged up kids gave a tough fight to their challengers during aseries of events. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winnersof different levels. Play classes witnessed special contests.Prabhkirat and Shanique amongst boys and girls won the running contestin Play Class I while Ranbir and Kudrant bagged top slot in frog racealong with Vedansh Soni and Tanya as winners in Task race. Play classII had Uday and Tanisha as winners in running while Mehtaab andBanipreet won the frog race. Aarush and Jasneet were winners of taskrace. Gurman amongst boys and Prabhgun amongst girls won runningcontest in Play Class III while Karanjot and Ashmeet were frog racewinners while Mridul and Ashneet were task race winners. Raahat,
Parneet, Anjan, Shristhi, Akshin and Vanya were winners for Play ClassIV while Kanwar Raj, IShrat, Angad, Jasmine and Samaksh were PlayClass V winners. Anoopinder, Yaashan, Gurvansh, Sumegha, Manraj andAarushi were winners of contests in Play Class VI.Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Singh, Director, Small WondersSchool reiterated that the school is committed towards overalldevelopment of children. Sports which form quintessential part ofdevelopment phenomenon among young kids are especially a focus areafor the management which aptly took upon itself the task of organizinga tremendously successful Sports Week for which faculty needs to becongratulated, added Singh.
